If your eating anything with FLOUR or SUGAR,, through out your day then most likely that is your problem.. Try to stay away from white bread chips, tacos, candy, anything like that.. If you like to eat bread eat RYE bread only.. If you like treats stick to sugar free.. Most people can not eat flour or sugar without getting a puffy tummy at the end of the day.. there is many reasons why but I wont waist your time listing them all.. Oh and amiradera drink LOTS of water through out your day.. I mean LOTS.. you will pee alot but your tummy will not be as blouted.. Put lemon or lime wedges in your water bottles to make them tates yummer.. Good luck .. I hope this works for you.. Try this for at least one week and see if it works ok..

For God's sake, amiradera, you're thirteen!

You will find that throughout your (hopefully long) life your body will undergo all sorts of changes to its shape and size. Nobody will love you any more or any less for it (and if they love you less you're better off without them anyway). Do not get sucked into a dangerous obsession with your size and shape. Just eat sensibly, stop fretting and get out more!

Amiradera - I can only echo what JudgeJ has said. At thirteen your body still has a long way to go to develop and whoever gave you the idea that a flat stomach is normal?. If you look around you, you will find that everybody's body curves in and out. Only anorexic models have a beanstick shape and they are probably damaging their long-term health by not eating properly. Just avoid the obviously fattening things like too many crisps, burgers, eat sensibly and get regular exercise. A lot of "puppy fat" which appears during your early teens burns itself off automatically if you follow a sensible regime.
As well as all the above, try getting into the habit of standing up straight and pulling in your stomach muscles. After a few weeks of doing this everytime you remember, you'll find you do it automatically everytime you stand up.
Btw when people talk about celebrities having 'flat stomachs' they don't literally mean 'flat' they just mean not wobbly. Every girl is always going to have a very little round bit over their stomachs because there is an extra layer of fat there to protect the womb. Plus if you look at yourself straight on in the mirror you probably won't even be able to see it. It'll look far more pronounced from your view, looking down. Anyone who literally has a flat stomach is seriously ill and heading towards organ failure. Please don't worry about this sort of thing at your age, you've got plenty of time to get paranoid about your body!x
im exact same and have been all my life...i used to run 5 mile every day with a bin liner on to sweat it off but i allways kept that stomach.no matter how little i ate i allways felt bloated.if im going for a few pints wi my mates on a fri nite then i never eat b4 i go out as i feel bloated ad hav no confidence.the only thing that helps is excersise and a high protein diet!!!!! nothing else...im 38 now and only realising now that its the only way...no matter how hard it is just get down that gym..eat healthy, plenty chicken, fish, red meat,vegetables...no potatoes, bread, pasta!!!!! its the only way i can promise u that...good luck

You guys.. dont be so hard on her.... shes not saying she has a problem with food.. she is saying she wakes up with a flat tummy and by the end of the day its puffed out .. That is not normal.. that is her body reacting to what she is eating (most likey)..She is not saying she wants to be a thin model or have a 6-pack,, My son had this problem really bad.. he also had a hard time pooping.. it is something very very common in people and most people think its normal.. but its not at all.. Most of the time it is caused by flour, sugar and in some cases cow milk.. We are not ment to have these things in our bodies.. as for sugar,.. we can handle naturl sugars and thats about it..

good luck amiradera.. I hope you find what works for your tummy.. If you ever feel any pain in your tummy with the swelling ..seek a Dr out..

Try having some probiotic natural yoghurt at the start of each day (the yeo valley plain organic one is great!). I find the bacteria in it really helps with bloating. If this doesnt work you could go to your doctors to talk about food intolerances & allergies, as jenikins says there are a lot of things which humans arent design to eat, and some people just cant handle it. But like others have said, youre body is at that stage where its going through a big change, so try not to get too hung up about it! (Hope that doesnt sound patronising!)
Well said Hannahjo! Good luck amiradera.!
