Teachers got engaged, both female. They wear 'promise' rings (diamond & sapphire) on wedding finger. Theyre both lovely girls & plan to have their wedding here.

I know that by a long way Jordy is not the only one to think like this and Anne says , he is unlikely to change now.

One thing always occurs to me when the conversation goes this way is how damned exhausting it must be wondering what the person selling you your stamps/bread/petrol etc etc got up to last night.

My sympathies are with you Jordy & am not offended. I too am bewildered at this lifestyle choice but if it makes two people happy then I run with it. The teachers are in their 40s and choose my place for their union; thats an honour for me & I shall make sure their day is perfect for them. As for their pupils, I expect some at the ceremony. Theyve all been here from London, for country pursuits.
