Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. Some cloud about this morning. Yesterday morning was warm and sunny with a gentle breeze. In the afternoon heavy rain and hail. The evening was cloudy but some stars were on display. Not too bad really!

I had a surprise about six, the doorbell rang, friends I haven't seen for a couple of years on the doorstep. To say I was surprised is an understatement. They live in Poole and are on their way to Ireland...when they wake up that is! We of course went to the TA, they've never been there before. They love it! They have to be at Pembroke for the ferry this afternoon. I've made a reservation for them at our favourite guest house just outside Waterford. So I shall be off when they wake up.

Morning all, The sun has got his hat on (delete 'n'-word etc) in N/Kent, going to have to get the boys shades out if this goes on. Few fluffy clouds about, looks nice but it's still cool.

morning all xx Bit late this morning. I was up at about 4 -ish, went for a run , came home, did some washing, some ironing, had a cuppa and now just waiting for the man to come and do the annual service of my equipment (!!?) Naughty naughty, he's coming to check the gas boiler, rads etc. What on earth were you all thinking ?

no didn't get the oven fixed have to wait for spare part ! the top of the oven was okay so could cook all the veg and my nice next door neighbour cooked my lasagne & chicken pie in her oven, the day was saved and my last guest left at 7.30pm, its left over lasagne for me today only one portion left though, the chicken pie got demolished.

Yes Baldric, the knees are a bit of a killer aren't they? My achilles and calf muscles are a problem too. Getting old ain't much fun is it?
I'm doing a half marathon for charity next month so I HAVE to try and make an effort .
Better go now, lots to do.
