have taken out a travel insurance policy but accidently put the wrong telephone numvber on it, will this void the policy should i need to make a claim, or will the fact that home address details n name are all correct b ok? any ideas? thanks

that will be fine. Even if you put the correct number on it, 9 times out of ten they would input into their database. As long as address and name is correct.

I'm sure it won't void the policy but you should contact them and correct the error. If you needed to make a claim they might need to telephone you at home about it and it would only complicate matters for you if they weren't able to do so.

Insurance contracts are a typr of contract that is called a 'Vidusiary' one - this means that the policy holder has an obligation to inform the underwriter of anything that may reasonably alter the premium. Putting the incorrect telephone number would not do this, so your policy will still be valid.
