Anyone got any suggestions, most of the day I've been in agony with cramp in my hands and forearms. Everything locks and goes into spasm. Help please.

Just read about that from a magazine I was throwing out this afternoon Caran (read my latest thread!) It says if you suffer from cramp drink lots of water and eat plenty of bananas - apparently a shortage of magnesium and potassium. I fully sympathise, poor you, its horrible, I get it on the top of my feet sometimes .....
tonic water - bit of quinine in it - good for cramp - but you need to tell your GP if it happens often. My MIL gets it and it's to do with her general state of health, she couldn't hold her cutlery to eat last week.

I wondered if it was anything to do with the Norovirus. I usually drink at least two litres of water a day but this week I haven't had more than one litre. I wouldn't say I was dehydrated but not drinking as much.
I'd go and see your GP. Not for us to diagnose - no neck problems?

A bit stiff and achy but like everywhere due to virus.
..GP.... (don't google, there are too many options spring up)

Have found tonic water to help. Doctor did suggest quinine tablets.
I have been prescribe quinine tablets for night cramps in my legs, it works.
You could try icepacks in the short term, frozen peas or similar.
