The 144,000 is in reference to the number of "anointed" christians chosen to go to heaven. Some people interpret this to mean that only 144,000 will ever be selected; Others, mostly the JWs etc, insist that this number refers to 144,000 favoured ones, chosen by god to rule in heaven or some such. I just wonder how many of the alleged 7.7 million adherents imagine they are one of the 144,000 ;)

Not many, LG. Most of the number are already there in heaven - allegedly. The hoi polloi of the JWs will be raised from their graves, we nasties will be destroyed, and the goodies will inherit the perfect earth that Goodlife is so eager to see come to fruition. Happy days! ;o)

True,Goodlife is so eager to see come to fruition. Happy days! ;o)

Look at your days▪ One person dies as a war victim every 102 seconds.
▪ One person is murdered every 61 seconds.
▪ One person commits suicide every 39 seconds.
▪ One person dies in a traffic accident every 26 seconds.
▪ One person dies from hunger-related causes every three seconds.
▪ One child under the age of five dies every three seconds,

And you still look to man,you got nothing to offer.
Goodlife, And how many will be murdered if your bloke gets his way? Have you counted?
