My fathers day card from my son says on the front, For A Wise Dad, important lessons in life that you have taught me. Open the card and it says,
RELIGION. ''You'd better pray that comes out of the carpet''.
IRONY. '' Keep crying and I'll give you something to cry about''
LOGIC. '' Because I bloody said so thats why''
TIME TRAVEL. ''You'd better behave or I'll knock into next week''
ANTICIPATION. '' Just you wait till we get home''
MAGIC. ''Shut your mouth and eat your dinner''
HYPOCRISY. ''If I've told you once I've told you a million times don't exaggerate''
JUSTICE ''One day you'll have kids and I hope they turn out just like you''

Sound familiar lol.

I don't think that I've seen any pint glasses with Supermum on them.

What kind of fool would take a man's advice on shopping?

Question Author
Sorry gness, didn't mean you or alba, but some woman do have half pints or so I'm told !.
Dave where are you, I need help here.
hard to say, tonyav, the glasses are Canadian not US, and Canada is metric. It may be they're made to the US measure and intended for the US market.
I have 3 daughters and a son. My son was first to call with his card and he said that he would have bought me a bottle of Martell, but he didn't know what kind i preferred because when he went on the Asda website there were different bottles. So i checked and he was right, a 35cl, a70cl, a75cl and a litre bottle!! My oldest daughter got me a "super dad" pint pot - to go with the other 4 i have and my 2nd oldest daughter got me a book on horse racing. My youngest daughter didn't get me a present, nor a card, but she did call..........................to borrow a tenner off me. Happy Father's Day, all you dads out there:-)
What book was it Ken, I wasn't lucky enough to get one of them
In answer to Elvis's question; It was a book about the racehorse in general. Interesting enough, as a read, but it won't help me find winners.
I managed to get my Dad all the original Star Trek series in those lovely Communicator shaped boxes. I've been wanting to buy him them for years, but they were too expensive. I've also got him The Les Dawson Joke Book, written by his wife and daughter. I must admit, I had a flick through it myself and had a good chuckle!
