I know that this isn't a literature question even though it sort of is in a way. I just want to know what you think.
I thought the movie was good but it had its drawbacks. The movie was just rather boring at parts because they really skipped around a lot and that was a big pitfal for the people that have never read the books. I mean they should have showed at least wear and how he got his books not just letting Cornelius Fudge give them to him. My god I mean that is totaly wrong that they did that because then they would not know when or where he got any of his things. I was very dissapointed with it because of the entire lack of participation on the directors side; come on he is the one that should bring out the things that really matter in the book not just giving people things so that they would think they had evrything.

I agree with you. The landscaping was totally different from the other movies. In the 1st and 2nd movie, Hagrid's hut was close up to the castle and in the 3rd you had to practically walk a mile to get to his hut. Also, what's up with the clock and the fountains? I went and saw it with my friend, who never read the books, and she kept on asking me all of these questions, because they never really explained what things were. Like the dememntors. I don't think they said what they were. They missed many, many things. I liked Chris Columbus better, director of 1st and 2nd HP film. Thank the Lord that Alfonso whatever isn't directing the 4th one. Mike Newell is, who is the director of Mona Lisa Smile. I'm expecting a lot from, the 4th movie.
I think Sirius isn't exactly as handsome as the book describes.

I agree with HarryPotter . Siruis was definitely not how I expected him. I actually sort of pictured him as Aragorn from Lord of the Rings.
I thought the movie lacked some serious details. An example: They never even told us who Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs were. And I really was looking forward to seeing Harry on the Firebolt winning the Quidditch Cup. But I have to admit Draco Malfoy is getting pretty hot.

I know, really. My friend was slobbering when she saw Draco Malfoy. He's actually 17, Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy. HP did def. lack details. And I LOVE DETAILS.
That's GREAT! I'm 17 too! Maybe me and Draco can get together in HP4 movie! LOL!
I want the old producer back because he thought about his movies and the third movie kept jumping to harry and lupin walking in the forest yet the only time he was near lupin was in class, his office, proffecer bins class and in the shrieking shack.

I THINK ALL THE MOVIES ARE REALLY COOL ......EVEN THIS ONE

It is good but it misses out far to much
