mikey, that's her job. What sort of attacks might have been precipitated had she lost her equilibrium?
Don't get me wrong Daisey...I am glad that Kirsty kept her cool. But judging from her body language, I'm just admiring her professionalism. I'm not sure I could have been so even-handed.

Thank God for the BBC !
Jake, //Tell the kids//

How about we tell kids like Malala Yousafzai, shot in the head by the Taliban for wanting an education – and all the others that have suffered at the hands of people of their own religion and culture who claim to be their defenders? How many have they killed and maimed? Or is that acceptable to you because the western forces that you so abhor aren’t responsible for that? Get a grip on reality!!

//Doesn't the stench of the double standards get to you?/

It clearly doesn’t get to you!

Mikey, your post read as though you were criticising the man that spoke out against him.
/Oh dear Zeuhl, we have suffered a nasty paper cut today, haven't we? /

Holier than thou aren't you chill?
Is that common in the NHS?

Clearly you think you do a very important job compared to the rest of us who go out and generate wealth so we can pay for the whole thing

those of us on AB who aren't employed in our National Health Service will just have to carry on doing our best and hope we never have to receive treatment from a big ego centric, sanctimonious article like you

It's ironic that you should accuse others of being 'superior and dismissive' when it was you who dismissed the process of interviewing a representative sample of people and claimed that the views of the country was best represented by the views of you and your mates in your staff rest room

And a bit of advice: leave out the adolescent attempts at put downs
They don't make you look big or clever - quite the reverse

From someone who referred to me as a trolley pusher? Oh the irony! Wassup, truth a bit too close to the bone when you get a stinging riposte?

Then there's:

Clearly you think you do a very important job compared to the rest of us who go out and generate wealth so we can pay for the whole thing

And you call ME egocentric? (it's all one word, BTW)

You want to wake up and smell what you're shovelling.
As the saying goes: If you can't take it, don't dish it out.......

I'll leave it there before I say something I really regret, but don't ever call me a racist again. You really have got no idea.
Chill

You've already posted things you should regret

Unless you don't care about looking smug, stupid and a liar

BTW

/stinging riposte/

You?

Get over yourself chill PMSL
Jake the Peg. That site you provided a link to looks ludicrous. You need to do something better than hit the first link that comes up when you google 'evil western conspiracy drone strike'.
I betcha he has a luxury estate in P'stan on £25k pa
Her mistake was at 0:43 where she said 'horrified'. Wrong thing to do, it takes the discussion right off track and lets him spout his trash.

When he said 'We were shocked', she should have asked why he was shocked, what was shocking about it, where he was when he was shocked, did his family know he was shocked, etc. etc. etc.

Keep it on him being shocked, trying to put words in his mouth isn't going to work and gives a platform for argument which he just fills with his justification of things.

Chill

I rest my (and others, it would appear from differing threads) case.
why did they give this man air time to speak such botox, the BBC and any channel should be ashamed of themselves, he is nothing but a terrorist, he wants Sharia Law right across Britain, not to mention all the other un democratic ideologies that permeate his religion.
I think he showed himself for what he is, so perhaps it wasn't such a bad thing. It might have cast a little doubt in the minds of the apologists.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the meetings of "The Shari'a Council" of britain.
Question Author
not surprised jake sides with the terrosists on this, anyone killed by the allies either targetted of collateral is killed by the necessity to address this terrorism. Drones would not be flying if it wasn't for the loonies like Choudary.
What i want to know is why does Choudary get any kind of benefits, isn't he fit for work, and we already know what he is, he has been around a long time. gets his face on tv any time possible, spouting this bile. You can't get rid of him either as he was born here, but shame that he doesn't go and fight for the countries he loves so much, because it sure isn't Britain. He is another enemy of the state, and having listened to him endless times, read some of his rhetoric consider him as dangerous as the men who slaughtered that poor soldier.
