Well our PM has spoken and told us all to "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON".

He also said that "the terror attack will not divide us but bring us together and make us stronger",

Do you think this utopian dream of 'togetherness' will really work, because we were not very together before?

/// Mr Cameron revealed that the two suspected killers were known to the security services and promised that the authorities will investigate into whether the attack could have been prevented ///

Bit late in the day to save that poor lad's life I think, perhaps those two savages should have been 'netted' sooner?

potential terrorists, how could you lock someone up for that, proof of intent, discovery of bomb making equipment, actual proof of the crime would be a different matter.
Bazille no not like your post of 16.40 above. Putting Terrorists into guantanamo bay like facilities does more harm than good. I would send them back to Al Qaeda in the country of their choice and see how long it was before they were banging on the door asking to come back to old blighty.
But , what if they dont want to go and they have not committed any crime ?
yeah right, you think the asians want their "areas" flooded with blacks ?

dream on
I assume that post is aimed at me ?

If you read the exchanges between me and em - you would realise that i was getting her views as to why she thinks that ' whites ' would not want to venture into those ' ghetto ' areas she mentioned in any effort to intigrate

There is nothing for me to ' dream on ' about
i actually meant it, though its a struggle, to put the point that many Asian, Chinese have their own communities and don't particularly integrate with the rest of society.

/// Should the security services be allowed to do more than 'observe' potential Terrorists and 'netted' sooner? Or would this just lead to more trouble? ///

I think you have hit on something there, I suspect that is all part of the trouble, the fact that the various services, police, security, and social, seem to hold back in case they upset the communities, which apparently happened over the Asian child grooming cases.

It is time they were issued with 'stronger boots' which can withstand the treading on 'broken glass' and enforce more of the laws available under the anti-terrorism laws, and if there are not any adequate enough, introduce some that are.
No give him his due the government sets a fine example of multiculturalism with old-Etonians sitting side by side with those from other public schools!

To be quite honest Jake you spoil your obvious well developed intelligence by continually making stupid and personal remarks to the extent that i feel that your posts are not worth reading.

I am truly sorry that I have come to that conclusion.

You've never come across comic exageration?

Really?

Yes there are half a dozen comprehensive educated Ministers out of a Cabinet of 30

A few years ago, some vietnamese boat people arrived off the coast of Australia. The then P.M. told them to p**s off. When they peristed, he sent out a gunboat and threatened to blow them out of the water. Despite the human rights, 'lefty' brigade, 'do gooders' etc, protsting like mad, Australia's P.M. stood firm. The people diverted to New Zealand. If Cameron had THAT sort of balls, all of these preachers of hate would have been loaded on to planes and f**k*d off, and this poor squaddie just might be alive today.

Indeed I do recognise the above concept, but i am talking about repetitive personal insults and totally unnecessary cryptic double entendres.....and you do know what i am talking about.
Yes Dylan, and if the Afghanistan people had the balls to tell out troops to keep out, perhaps many other dead squaddies would be alive today

The bit about "they then went to New Zealand" suggests a small problem with the approach -- stopping people from entering your country doesn't solve the problem, and just pases it on to another country instead...

And don't we in Britain know it?
