I saw the gynaecologist today, scan I had has shown a mass in the uterus, going in next Friday for biopsy and exploratory surgery. Just thought I'd keep you updated.

I'm home.
Letter sent to GP contains the following information.

Indication PMB

Findings
Vulva; normal
Vaginal: normal
Cervix: normal
Uterine sound; 7.5 cm
Uterus; normal size
Adnexae; no mass
Endometrial cavity; fleshy polyploid all appearance on the posterior wall
Visual appearance of endometrium; suspicious
Endometrial sampling (curettage); sent for urgent histology.

Really don't want to start googling, so Sqad your thoughts if you will please.

Thanks for the feedback Tracie..........can't really say much until the biopsy report arrives.

Question that needs answering is ..is this a benign polyp?
Chances are it is.........but the biopsy will give us the answer.

Had a phone call this morning, I have to go and see the gynaecologist at 5pm tonight, results are back.

Hope it's good news Traci. Have been through something vey similar myself very recently - I am one month down the line from a total hysterectomy and all the works. Mine was an ovarian tumour.

Fingers crossed for you, it is a worrying time for you, but try and keep positive xx

Thank you excelsior and Bb, it's a bit worrying, but worrying doesn't really help, so I'm trying to stay positive. Glad you're okay now Bb.
