When I was little, my parents were big TV fans and we watched loads of the stuff (ummm, interesting I don't now have a TV as an adult....!) but anyway, on saturdays, we typically ate our dinner in the sitting room whilst watching various trashy TV shows. One night we watched a show which had a scene in it of a man who had been hypnotised and whenever anyone said "Martin is a genius" and clapped their hands twice, 'Martin' then jerked his head to one side, on his shoulder, and then straight back up again and said 'huh' in a rapper type way.

The re-enactment of this scene between me and my sister whenever one of us did something particularly clever or said something clever gave us hours of endless amusement. In fact, we still say it now to each other at inappropriate times, particularly family gatherings. My brothers who are a lot younger than me and my sister do not remember this show. Anyway, the other weekend, my sis and I were being our usual selves and we happened to say this thing about Martin and TOm said, "you guys, you have always said that, where on earth did you get it from?" at which point my sister and I said" it's from....oh! I don't know!" We had forgotten completely.

I think the show was a series, but that it didn't run for very long and I think it was about cars or a garage or something, but it wasn't that one about taxis "Roger Roger"? it was earlier than that.

Anyone remember this show? Cheers
