off to America for a holiday next month.....someone said you can configure the VPN settings on the iPad so it 'doesn't know' your out the country there for you can watch the catch-up TV app?
Any ideas?

You can get apps, one of which is VPN express. You get limited bandwidth with them, unless you pay.

There is another website - google Simply Free VPN. It comes up with that name, but a slightly different web address.
