My prescription has changed so I need a new lens put in my specs, do I need to pay for it or do you just take them in hand em over wait and get them back.
I had new lenses put in my old frames at SS, it cost me £125. Apparently that was cheaper than buying new frames and lenses. I like rimless glasses so they are more expensive.
Make an enquiry with reglaze Shaney, they're very helpful. I asked them if it would be possible to add 2mm to the width of my lenses and they were more than accommodating.
I tried several ChillDoubt but no luck .I am as blind as a bat though .
Very shortsighted with astigmatism .Varifocals ,with transition lenses and ultra thinned or I would like Joe Ninety .My last ones cost 400 notes .I couldn't find anything on line to accept my prescription.
I'll have a look at them when I need new ones .Thank you .
Shaney, you can email them your prescription and they'll let you know if it's possible, or speak to Carly the receptionist, she's the epitome of helpful.
I've made a note and will give it another try when my next eye test is due . I like the frames I've got now and some of these High St opticians are reluctant to replace just the lenses although these were from an independent optician .
Thanks again for the info.Very kind of you .
