Yes we had thunder an hour or so ago, still raining, snow going now thank heavens.
We had thunder and lightening last night as well and the rain was pounding on my windows. Kept me awake for ages.
Lovely and sunny here in North Devon :-)
I am in 30 degrees heat and about to go and sit by the pool. Just arrived this morning in Mauritius to work for a few days. Couldnt understand why my case was so damp until I remembered it was raining heavily when I left Heathrow last night.
looking out at clear, dry ground and blue sunny sky
difficult to believe that only a few days ago it looked like a scene from 'the day after tomorrow' out there

Flippin' heck, the day dawned with glorious blue sky, sunshine, temps approaching double figures for most of the day and now I'm back to thunder, lightning and very high winds!

At least the snow has gone and so may my roof if the winds keeps up!
It's chucked it down and stopped, then chucked it down and stopped, blooming lazy icy wind though.
Roll on summer.

Grass, I feel your pain :-D x

I'm consoling myself with the knowledge that it rains a fair bit in Mauritius, it can't be so green and lush without regular rainfall....I'm deliberately overlooking the fact that the rain is warm and shortlived, albeit it daily.
