What is going on with Britain
Hi
I could hardly watch the news tonight about the poor wee boy that died in soo much pain
Now I've just read the Scottish news and kids threw a lit firwork into a pram of a sleeping baby when the mother had turned her back to deal with her other child, luckily in this case the mother was quick to act and got all the babies clothes off and the baby was fine
All thats in the news these days is stabbings, attacks, murders.
They should bring back hanging, these folk are getting away with murder. Theres just no punishment these days.
Its like well you've killed someone, off you go to jail get a nice room, computers, gym etc whilst the rest of us work hard and save for months just to get some of the things they get.
Look at the jails you get in places like Thailand, Mexico, etc. Just fling them in and let them fend for themselve and so what if our jails are over crowded, dont waste taxpayers money keeping them in luxuries

For the record, I was brought up in a one-parent immigrant family and had it drummed into me that education was the key and nothing else. This is how I've done well in life. You right wingers concentrate on what to do once the kids have gone bad - you have nothing to say about how to prevent this.
Yeah - put them in stocks, yeah - build more prisons, yeah -throw them in jail whatever age they are...
Why in God's name aren't you addressing the causes? Why aren't you thinking "Hang on, what living conditions are these babies being brought into? What funding do social services have? What kind of schools do these kids go to?"
What you're doing is chopping off the leg once it's got gangrene (no idea how that's spelled). Whereas what you should be doing is preventing the infection in the first place.

Prisons are easy. No one takes responsibility for anything.
No one wants to put the preverbial foot down and change the situation.
The death pentalty never worked. It is far to quick a way out for killers, Fred West and Harold Shipton are evidence of this, but taking away someones human rights might work.
You can't behave like a human you don't get the rights.
You kill or abuse a child you lose your right to have any more.
Lines need to be drawn on somethings.
