That is sad canary, my Dad would have been 95 now. He was taken to hospital with pneumonia and he just slipped away. I couldn't believe that he was gone.
Well apart from myself and my brother and sister not being mentioned during "the story of his life" it was marvellous..........
My dad too died in his fifties(52) I was 25,he Is still a big miss.
My dad would be 64 now, it sounds so young.

He was a great dad.

I was 22 when he died-he was 68....I wish he met his grand kids.
My dear dad was 95 when he died in 2001. Still miss him.
Mine would have been 80, coming up 81....

Died at 56 of the Big Sea as he called it, (colon) cancer not drowning......strange humour but we were close.
I might need some of your advice in the coming year.
Mine would have been a 108 in November this year .He died aged 69 in 1973´on my 24th birthday .

I'm so lucky I'm 50 both parents alive Dad the more active one born in 1938 so 74 now x.
Have one Daughter and 4 Grandkids and their lives and mine are so enriched by my Mum and Dad still being here.

my father would have been 80 back in october, he passed away christmas eve 2005 (prostate cancer)

christmas is so different since then ... we really miss him
I thought this about my parents this year, mum was a few months older than my dad, they would have been 103 this year.... mum died ten years ago next month, I still miss her.
Its great to get old enough to be good pals with the kids, then you become an endangered species!
