Do you have pet(s)? My dog (Blakeney) is staring at me now wondering why we haven't gone for a walk yet. He is our third black Labrador. Mrs R didn't like dogs until I brought home a puppy. Ten seconds and she was smitten!

Had dogs when I was growing up. Honey, who was an Elkhound Spitz and the most lovely of dogs ever and Winnie, one of her puppies, who was just a freak of nature. I used Winnie as protection because she looked quite menacing as she had to wear a muzzle. I never told anyone it was just because she had allergies and it was to stop her gnawing herself to death :)
I can't wait until I retire so I can get a dog. Only another 40 odd years to go. Woohoo!

I have a goldfish called Alberto who is 6.
I am considering getting a dog. I had dogs and horses growing up and I miss having a dog around. I just don't know how fair it is on the dog if I live in a flat. It's a big flat but I have no garden and once I start working again, I will be out of the house for at least 12 hours. A dog may have to wait until I move! :(

I have a cat, Sooty, who is very strange. She doesn't go outside and is that shy people don't believe she actually exists! Lol!
I also have two fish called Cheech and Fish. Chong died and we decided that giving them names was tempting fate so that's why Fish is just Fish :-) Cheech obviously broke the curse haha!

Currently there are 2 dogs, 5 rats and 6 koi although none of them are 'pets' the dogs and rats are family and the fish are just there to make the pond prettier. Have always had dogs, I couldn't live without canine company. We have had lots of various animals over the years but I'm sticking to dogs and rats now.
Nope...no pets at the moment as we spend a lot of time away and abroad and it just wouldnt be fair to the pet to put it in a home or get someone else to look after it.
It does give you freedom to pretty much do anything you want, and as you good people with pets know, it is crushing when they get ill or pass away, and we 've had that in the past with dogs, budgies and assorted, so not at the mo.
