I am disgusted if the stories about Saville are true, I admit I have not read everything about the allegations though
However is it acceptable to find a few jokes amusing or would I be chastised for even thinking it??

Dear Joggerjayne, as I read your subjective "analysis", you are attacking certain people's oversensitivity to virtually all types of joke, with your limitation on all but sex-jokes as a sarcastic conclusion. In another, more general context, I would tend to agree with you - most happenings in life can be humourously re-written or laughingly commented about. Any other reading of your post leads to the conclusion that you have jogged so much, your brain has turned to you into another of those boring do-gooders.
HOWEVER, I do not think that you have chosen the correct forum to air these views. Indeed this "analysis", irrespective of earlier postings, could be interpreted as a cryptic criticism of we anti-saville-joke ABers as oversensitives.
Time to put-up or shut-up jayne: Are Saville jokes acceptable on AB? "Yes" or "No"?
For myself I should clarify my earlier posting. When threatening to report any tasteless joker, I was strictly referring to Saville-jokers only.
SIQ.
Owdhamer you say your last post was jumbled. I think a load of crap would be a better description! "Dead and buried..leave it at that"?
Perhaps you should write to this monster's victims and say that.
