This was a truly despicable act and must be condemned at all costs, but am I alone in wondering why a four-year-old child was in a supermarket toilet without one of his parents?

I did wonder - but it could have been a combination of things that caused him to be there alone.

I adult involved has been caught I believe - 19 year odl.

Poor wee lad.
I sometimes have to let my four year old son go into the toilets alone if his brothers are not with us - he insists on going in the men's. I won't be doing it anymore, this has really made me think.

I'd be very wary of allowing a 4 year old into a supermarket toilet unaccompanied. Having used the Asda toilets in Falkirk I often think twice about going in there myself.

Hope he recovers?
Personally I'd just think twice about going to Falkirk and leave it at that.
It didn't happen in Falkirk.
