Ena, I know, tried all sorts of supermarkets but no one sold gin or any other spirits. Had to get it where we could, not good!!

Last time I went to Amsterdam a man went past us on roller skates. He was naked apart from a small black leather pouch and had chains hanging from piercings on most parts of his body.
Apparently he is well known.
My sister-in-law's face was a sight to behold.

Re the badge, I've found out why and when I got the badge but not the thread I got it for.

Parkdale we went to Amsterdam on a disastrous coach trip a couple of years ago

I also have two badges - one for the same as carondrog. Why don't we get a badge for the number of best answers we get. It might encourage us to use the best answer button more. Perhaps a hundred best answers would be nice. I suppose that might introduce an element of competition into it which might not be the right thing for Answerbank.
