And i don't feel cross. Just very very sad. He always does it and it's a bit of a joke( although i do find it hard to laugh inside. But this time, i think I've had enough.

Oh I see, it was the op oi dt gmail that confused me!!

You might be almost right about the babysham. I spent quite a while in the pub opposite the registry office beforehand, and must admit I was very light headed when I arrived. I seriously can't remember the getting married bit!
time for bed here - so night to all of you still up and going! Night!
our anniversary is a joke april first

Don't make it a "I wonder if he will remember". Event. You remember remind him in advance. Plan something and tell him. Some men do anniversaries most don't. So if you want a special day plan something and make it memorable. Happy anniversary. It's my anniversary today. My husband is away on business so I will drink thechampag e all by myself.
Forget to cook his meals and do his laundry, Cris.
I've gone passed being cross and now just feel sad the OH never even gets me a card for my birthday because he forgot
My reply now is 'Why didn't you buy me one on a day you remembered then?' About 2 weeks before he says 'Oh it's your birthday on so and so, mustn't forget' yeah, right! lol But then, he forgets about Xmas as well
I had enough when I placed a really lovely, thoughtful present for him under our Xmas tree and there wasn't a thing for me from him.
Tell you what really upsets me though, is I take out young daughter out to buy him gifts and cards and he says he doesn't have time to do the same for me :(
In that case, OJ, he's a very selfish individual.

I would be inclined to stop doing anything for him and deny him all his pleasures.

There are only a smaller number of days.in a calendar year where you get do show someone you love how much you appreciate them. If they can't be arsed, they can't expect you guys to be doting wives.
A lot of men dont remember dates, If you want a nice celebration then dont play mind games, his failure to remember the date is not a test of his feelings for you, plan something, both of you!
forgetting Christmas? Now that really must take a lot of effort.
"There are only a smaller number of days.in a calendar year where you get do show someone you love how much you appreciate them"

Surely NoMercy you don't have to have special days just to do that. A gift out of the blue or some other token of how you care can me so much more. Just my opininion, of course.

I would love to forget Christmas jno!! I really do try my best, but end up giving in!! :o(
Agree with Cazz.
Never mind crisgal, I'll post you an "AB Mention" on the 2nd December.
Neither Mr or Mrs sqad have sent presents or cards to each other at Christmas time or anniversaries.

We stopped giving the kids and grand children Christmas and birthday presents when they were 21 years of age.

Our relationship with each other in the family is "average" and our marriage one would describe as "adequate."

Just a general point.....from my observations, the success of a marriage is inversely proportional to the degree of "manufactured love."

Just an observation.
He is that, nom, exactly that
there was no BD present for him this year and he actually had the cheek to ask why. My withering look told him everything he needed to know
Saves me money and apart from that he aint so bad
tattoo the date on his arm ,he wont forget again .
"manufactured love" is a good expression! I will have to remember it.
I agree with Cazzzz.
