Just watched the concert on BBC4, (the middle one) I used to love RO still like him but couldn't believe how stiff and immobile he was, also the audience had very little reaction at all. I saw him in concert 3/4 times and cannot really remember him not moving much. Hard to imagine he has been dead for neARLY 25 YEARS. Anyone else watch it?

Oh yes, the contrast between his set and the Beatles when they shared a bill was quite something to behold!
You would be stiff and immobile if you had been dead 25 years !!
I listened to it while doing somethng else. Mr Ask is a fan. Only problem is when he sings Crying, I always think of the singer in the club in an episode of Only Fools and Horses. Didn't realise it was as long as that since he died.
He was one of those singers who had a unique voice and I loved it
Roy Orbison was unique, a great singer.

He really was great, I recorded the other two programmes on him too, but I couldn't inflict 2 in one night on OH. He likes him too but he knows when enough is enough, I will ration them out over the next couple of nights.
The rain is torrential here at the moment, difficult to hear tv above noise on conservatory roof. No BBQ's again this weekend, we have had 1 this year so far.

Did anone see him at he Derngate centre where he murdered Pretty Woman? He jazzed it up to a jimi hendrix version. It was horrendous, I was so disappointed.

Didnt he marry a lady working in the Batley Variety Club whom he met while working there ? or was that someone else ?
I loved his voice and his music but wasnt so keen to watch him, he never looked as though he enjoyed singing.
He was wonderful, but I know what you mean about being stiff. But back in the day a lot of solo singers were like that.
it was a repeat, and did watch before, he was a truly great singer
not a great fan myself but oh loves him have you ever seen Black and White Night ,the big O is backed by the likes of Springsteen, KDLang ,and a host of stars. a must for real fans (we recorded it for OH. Bit more of a Sean Paul girl meself.
