news report said that some parts of the south are now not in drought conditions, so that's all right then

East Anglia is still officially in drought EXCEPT South Cambridgeshire but then only within the Cambridge Water Company's area, which had not been 'in drought' in the first place (the Company's head office has windows, you see, and the staff had looked out at perpetual downpours)
