Reccommend just one film

If you could reccommend just one film to watch, what would it be and why?

Mine would be American HistoryX. It doesnt make comfortable viewing but has a hard-hitting message that one can't ignore.

Got to be A Beautiful Mind - sad but uplifting too. Russell Crowe's portrayal of John Nash was absolutely brilliant.

a good movie, maggie, and an outrage that he (Crowe) didn't get the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal.

Similar theme, I enjoyed The Madness of King George III (Nigel Hawthorne) and Amadeus....

Amadeus is a brilliant film! Tom Hulce was excellent in it.

Another film I would recommend is Across the Universe. It may be a bit blasphemous to some Beatles fans but I love it. The story and songs are great and it is just pure visual ecstasy!

Castaway with Tom Hanks. i think he is a very good actor and this film i really lost myself in it !

The Life of Brian. It's not necessarily my favourite film, but a great one to watch when you need a laugh.

I remember seeing Soldier Blue micmak .Harrowing film especially the rape scene.
If I had to pick a few ..Shawshank Redemption ,Dances with Wolves ,Dr Zhivago LA Confidental ,Thelma and Louise , A Room with a View ....anything with Al Pacino :-))

For Love of the Game - one of the best ever love stories. My favourite film. Never get fed up of watching it.

It is a funny, escapist, action film. With the exception of the ending it ticks every box.

Monster. An amazing film, I just sat there afterwards in stunned silence.

Charlize Theron was incredible.

Having said all that, had I known what it was about before hand I might not have watched it, I was so glad I did though.
