Not that sort of eye laser surgery, no. I'm not the sort to volunteer for unnecessary surgery. However so many have I'm sure it can't be too arduous if you want to go for it.

I dont think i am either but i cant help thinkinh it would be so gold to not have to wear contacts/glasses xx
My husband had it done about 12 years ago and my sister about ten years ago - both say it was the best thing they ever did and would recommend it to anyone. My sister is really squeamish but said it was very quick and didn't hurt.
Downside is that my husband can see me first thing in the morning!
It's much cheaper now than when they had it done so even more reason to go for it.

Lol shoe!!! Thank u so much... I have bad hayfever snd sometimes my lenses dry up etc and i have to go about squinting and its not good esp when im back at work.

Cant afford it right now may look at payment plans. Hmmmm food for thought x
My OH's daughter had it done, and the surgeon only did one eye as he said that the other eye would compensate, and it did - she had it done probably 8 or 9 years ago, and is very happy with the result.

Thanks islasmum!! Xx
My oh had it done years ago and he said it was the best thing ever, he has to wear glasses again now but just for reading. I think the payment plans are interest free, they were when he had it done and what we saved on contact lenses covered the cost of the payments.
^^^^ the glasses are an age thing and we were told to expect it.

Yes i never thought the amount i pay for contacts would almost cover!!!!

Thanks traci hope ur ok xxx <3
I looked into this when it first became available.
At that time they could not deal with astigmatism so I was not suitable. Also the man doing the examination wore glasses. I have never done anything about it since.
my sister had it done, said I should get it done, then it all went horribly wrong, had loads of problems with post surgery problems and she still has to wear glasses. I'm sticking to my contact lenses, you only get one pair of eyes!

Like anything, it can go wrong.

No doubt you have to sign a disclaimer protecting them when it does.

I prefer to stick to glasses, it's the irreversibilty of the operation which spooks me out.
