Yeah my neighbours do that, Ratty Snags!

I think that's why i have the Siberian Filigree hamster in my outbuilding.
?
Is that a mouse with an education Snags ?
We have had field mice in our home. They are coming from the semi next door, it is empty and most of our turning has a problem We have put traps with peanut butter down, have caught six so far.
Lovely photo ratty ...
Our little mousey friends have never tried to come into the house but then they are well fed outdoors and the feeders are not near the house.
Borrow Issi's Nutty Cat. 2 problems solved for the price of 1 :)

I don't mind them outside, but runing around my house is another matter.
Did it have clogs on ?
Poor little thing - its probably more scared of you than you of him. If he's in an outbuilding leave him be.

Are they like chameleons?

I've emptied the building, seen him 3 times but the Snag is nowhere to be seen now.
In the newspaper today, it was said that its a myth that mice like cheese so don't want good cheese on them, as said in earlier posting on here.. peanut butter is suppose to be a good bait for them... so peanut butter bait & trap .. good luck. They won't hurt you, they probably more scared of you than you are of them..

They only eat up mice and rats,
But a hippopotamus,
Could eat the lot of us".

I would also recommend borrowing a friend's cat.
Out catz bought nibble a mouse when he'd not long come out of hospital - they spent a whole night foraging about the living room for it, under his sofa bed :-)

The next afternoon, Black Spot caught it and left in the kitchen.
