Can't wait for the rugby today...it is a really good day out and about in Edinburgh when rugby is on....although am not going to Murrayfield will be glued to the box....come on Scotland !!!!!
Well, what can I say? The possession and turnover stats stacked up in Scotland's favour but they couldn't convert that superiority into points and unfortunately an error strewn performance saw them become the architects of their own downfall.
Well done to the England debutants too. Okay, they weren't tested as much as they ought to have been but they kept their nerve and composure on the odd occasion they did come under real pressure, no mean feat in a Calcutta Cup match in Edinburgh.
Really thought England were going to be turned over, too many changes and new management before the 6 nations, not a good policy if you ask me, even though England won the game, Scotland must be kicking themselves, they should have won it.
Not pretty but a win's a win. It says a lot that the man of the match was a Scot.
England won't get away with that kind lack lustre play against the Welsh.
We wiz robbed !!!!!....well done England.....humble pie humble pie humble pie.....looking forward to the match today should be close but think the Irish may just do it !!!!!
what are the SRU going to do with those shirts that they had made celebrating their win - gardening togs for Princess Anner perhaps?
England's defence was solid and they avoided the Johnson style penalties at critical times (the good points) but both teams could look highly suspect against the rest, including the Azzuri who didn't play badly against the French yesterday.....
