So Scotland is to have a referendum on devolution. It is a good bet that the vote will go against the motion.

Just wonder if the result would be the same if those south of the border were to asked the same question

What do you think?

I'm sure many South of the Border would happily let Scotland go.

My OH and I had a small discussion on this earlier. My heart says one thing, but my head says another. This could end up quite a passionate debate!!!

Happy New Year to you and to Mrs JD
Agree albaqwerty. As you say, many debates (even arguments?) go look forward to.
Scotland has already had more than one referendum on devolution, the most recent of which in 1997 resulting in a clear majority. Several months later, the UK parliament passed the Scotland Act which created the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Executive.
