When you were little, what did you call your Mother and which part of the country were you living in?
The reason I am asking is because when I was young, I used to call her Mam although later it changed to Mum but my brother still refers to her as Mam.
We come from Manchester.
I think people in Wales and the North East would use Mam but wondered if you came from another part of the country what you would call your Mother.

Always lived on the east coast of Scotland and called my mother mum. My son calls me "meh ma" or "Peggy" which he knows I hate. Daughter just calls me mum.
In Cambridgeshire, when I was little it was Mummy. Later it was Mum.
Mum or Maw... Or her name if she's ignoring me. I'm in Fife. I call my Dad, Pop most of the time lol :-)
