As most of you know, I have a rat in my kitchen. Last Thursday the Rat Catcher (ha, didn't sodding attempt to catch it did he?) put some poison in trays behind my fridge. Anyhoo, on Sunday the damn thing was still alive and well and last night I'm sure I heard it.

How long does this stuff take to work? Can I be even sure it's eating the poison, as I can't get behind the fridge to see, and quite frankly I don't wanna either. The Rat Man's coming back in 3 weeks, but I want it gone...well, like yesterday.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? I'm worried about getting more poison as ive a dog, and apart from where the poison already is there's nowhere to put it where she (the dog) won't get to it and stupidly eat it.

(Correct category this time Boo? Check!)

Awww bless CD- how nervous are you when he ventures out? And you are talking about the cat still and not Snaggles- right?

jno- that's horrible, go sit in the corner >>>
Snaggles is still not growed up enough to go out on his own...

I'm ok as long as stays in the back but he's started coming around the front and there's a big road there that although we're set back from a bit, I still don't like him being there. He looks really weeny when he's outside all on his own though.
surprised you've got room behind the heater for something like that, B00. Shouldn't you give them a room of their own, with ensuite?

That's a big 'un eh jno? (said the actress to the bishop). Luckily Roland, isn't (wasn't?) that big, though it's big enough. I think it could very well be dead by now, im hoping anyway.

When we get kitty CD, she won't be going outside, she'll be a housecat, so the fear of being squished on the road won't be there, thank God!

What's he watching? A rat???? Is it my rat?

Did he do that weird teeth chattery thing that cats do when watching summet?
It's a grey squiggle, B00..........

Horrid things, I hope Eric eats it!
It's the first time he saw a squirrel :c)

And yes, he does the teeth chattery thing but he does it at the birds on the roof!

Lol, yeah, afterwards i did notice it's titled "First squirrel", I never was observant- sorry CD!

And I like squirrels, even grey ones, yes they're cheeky, nick all the food etc, but they're so gosh darned cute looking!

Haha, the look on his face...

"For Gods sake, stop losing this thing, I keep bringing it to you and you keep losing it..."
That was very unsettling...........:o(
I know you didn't speak terribly much......but it could have been my voice!

He's a cutie. Our 'little girl' Amber used to play fetch with all sorts of things, some of which hadn't even been thrown.

Thank goodness the plumber didn't have his glasses on the day she waltzed into the kitchen with a TP (looted from the 'special' box in the bathroom) clamped in her jaws.....I think he thought she'd taken up smoking. :o)
Ha! I don't have any need for those fortunately otherwise I think he'd quite like them too!
Is it still there, B00?

Dunno Boxy, not heard it last few nights, and no sooty trails, so hopefully.....?
