I can only assume that at all club members have succumbed to the appetite of the crocodile in the moat whilst I was ensconced in the library.

Well I only popped to the scullery for more huggahuggas and all were gone on my return??
Question Author
Perhaps we should both have another huggahugga. I do not relish trying to find the others in the dark.
Well if there was no one to keep an eye on the crocodile it's to be expected that there will have been casualties - might I suggest a roll call at the next opening of the club doors?
Question Author
Have you ever tried keeping an eye on a moated crocodile in the dark? He was supposed to be a pet.
I think the "pet" should have hobby other than chasing the club members.
Give me a minute to rein in my llama and I'll be along for a huggahugga - I take it comes with the usual quantities of gins and other juices? Back to the croc - is there not a committee who can organise some floodlights for the moat?
Question Author
I think there were a few candles in the attics. I will retrieve them and try to find some kindling and a flint. Does the llama need any special food or bedding?
No, no that llama will be fine. Is it a safe assumption that the butler isn't around to search the attics for you? I may have some candles etc in my reticule shall I look?
Question Author
Sadly the butler is not with us tonight. A reticule! How marvellous. Please do. May I stroke the llama? My broomstick is not altogether receptive of petting.
Of course you may - just be careful he may spit. There seems to be a lot of this lurgy about maybe we should all be taking echinacea in our huggahuggas.....
Now then I have announced the early closure in the main house, do retrieve your coats while you can as the drawbridge will be going up soon.

I have tin hats and Davy lamps if anyone requires them, my portmanteau is cavernous.
talking of crocodiles, what happened to that great thread last night about the monster in the lake eating the 18st Rottweiler?
Thanks for the offer of tin hats and lamps I shall not require any I have pulled some gloworms from my reticule to light my way though if there is any huggahuggas left over amy I fill my flask for the road? It's a long way to Muckleflugga and I shall need some sustenance for the trek.
A veritable vat of huggahuggas left and available as carry outs, bill flasks, boots anything you like.
Question Author
Oh a tin hat would be marvellous as I do not have a helmet. Not sure what is mandatory for flying a broom. Nungate, so good to make your acquaintance, must get home before my fireflies exhaust themselves. Thankyou mamya, will avail myself of a flask of Huggahuggas. Totsiens, lekker slaap.
Night night all - safe journey home
