many years ago my mother often threatened to "knock me from here to kingdom come" usually after I'd answered her back - yet again - can anyone tell me where this place is as I've never actually been.

I would suggest it is Kingdom Come as in thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Knocking you from here to when God brings his Kingdom to Earth after the last Judgement.

Yeh, it will have something to do with the coming of the Kingdom of God when Jesus will come back and the whole world will live by Gods Commandments, and where he will be the judge of mankind.
