When Will God’s Kingdom Rule The Earth?

True faithful followers today want to know when God’s Kingdom would begin ruling. Jesus answered their question by saying that they would not know exactly when it would rule over the earth. (Acts 1:6, 7) But, earlier, he had told them that when his followers see a certain group of events happening all at once, they would “know that the Kingdom of God [was] near” and that the time for it to rule the world had come.​—Luke 21:31.

You’ll post something from the Bible and insist that if the Bible says it, it must be true.

oh come on ! even the most hard hearted and brazen have to admit there are good bits - the seven young  leddies who trimmed their lamps, has a message for us all - - save for a rainy day

oddly the three quotes, may have relevance to what it meant to the people it was said to:

Jesus said the kingdom was nigh - being  human he cd be wrong ( he was) - so his quote can illuminate what he thought around 30 AD

the Acts quote is about the first century church and what it felt it was for. - the first council - are we a jewish offshoot or a separate religion, and of course, what are we for. They also had to adjust to the fact the Time hadnt  - and they also  decided they werent Gnostic

There are a large number of people in the American South who think the Time has come: that doesnt mean it has.

Can we up the discussion to beyond 'last year at primary school ' please ?
