Farmergiles used to be my name, I forgot my password and no amount of asking for it via email would get me an answer, so I re-registered because of that, not that my account had been rendered inactive by the ed. and as for XFilesfan, beattie and ecclescake - I've no idea.

I wondered why I hadn't seen Mercia on Food and Drink. Glad she is ok and coming out of hospital soon. I followed her recipe for Roasted Tomato and Basil soup a couple of weeks ago and wanted to thank her. It was delicious!

Well whatever I wish Mercia well and hope she is soon home and up and running. Has Mercia not got a laptop Painterman that she could have taken into hospital with her? It would have passed the time.

No, we live Devon - we always have lived in Devon with my farmer son. When we are in Birmingham, we are in Mercia's house to look after the dogs as her husband often has to work away. My fisherman son did turn up on Friday with a friend in the van so he could drive us home, but as Mercia hadn't been let out of hospital we couldn't leave.

LoftyLottie - I offered to bring the laptop in and she said she didn't want it.

I did not like your other thread painterman. It looked absolutely eeuch to me ( in case you don't get it, that means disgusting). Which is why I didn't join it.
