physical, in a split second a smashed left kneecap in two places and a right wrist also in two places.
Emotional, won't go there again tonight.

Birdie - yes it was truely awful, she had a heart condition, I was warned that it would be sudden and would happen when she seemed ok. She was so intelligent and unusual - with me for eight years. They say this kind of loss is not far short of the feeling of losing a child - I can understand this (as a childless single male) - it was bloody awful.

It's a tie between running into a concrete lamp standard when aged 10, and ending 2 weeks of constipation about 10 years ago.
