Just added on another month to my maternity so I'm not going back until mid April (with 4 weeks annul leave as well). The money will be a loss but it means I get to spend a bit more time at home with Lt Tiggs.

Just thought I'd share my news :o)

I originally booked 9 months off rather than the full 12 months so I had another 3 months to play with.

Went to see my Manager today and she agreed it.
thats lovely for you
How about volunteering to do a project from home - at least that could bring in some dosh.......and also demonstrates you 'enthusiasm' to re-enter the work place with your manager et al..?

Hi Anne, yes we go out for little walks most days and also pop into the local childrens centre a couple of times a week to mix with other kids.
