Good for them.

There's nothing worse than a customer who orders something online and then blames the weather on the vendor when their goods don't arrive on time.
It is just the Tesco direct deliveries - the cut-off for Christmas was later this week.

I was in a panic there as I am in Perth and need to panic buy groceries later this week.

fair enough, feel sorry for the people who have come to reply on the service though, hope they can get help.
a lot of companies are refusing orders for delivery up in Scotland.
M&S said they have 2 weeks of backlog to get through and the distribution warehouse is full and cant accept any more.
Let the people of Scotland eat haggis or each other.

Phew!! - You had me worried there for a minute being as I've got 2 slots booked for grocery shopping before xmas.
One for the 14th and one for the 22nd.
I booked these weeks ago.and I'm sure if it were FOOD shopping Tesco would have let me know by now..

It's only for deliveries in Scotland.
Last winter Tesco rang to tell me my grocery order wouldn't be coming due to the weather..........the shop is 2 streets away from my house. I told them I was a pensioner and had nothing in the house to eat.....the manager brought my shopping round in his own car.
Are there not enough Sainsburys and Tescos and other Supermarkets available locally where you can actually visit and buy your stuff without depending on deliveries.
I've booked two lots of home deliveries before Christmas - not going to go to Asda with five kids on either the Saturday before Christmas or the day before Christmas Eve.
