bobjugs....I read your answer with interest.........I can just imagine the number of chest pain calls that one gets that are clearly of non-cardiac origin. One just has to peruse Body and Soul on AB to see the panic and "call an ambulance" response to pain, obviously not cardiac.

It is difficult to explain to people that if someone dies within 30 mins of symptoms, wherever those symptoms may be, then the medical establishment would be unlikely to have had anything to offer to save that person.

Hi sqad, I can see your point about not being able to help the person given the circumstances. The original question though that this is about is the fact that the technician involved decided not to attend so would not know any of the facts except that it was a 999 call for a cardiac emergency. As has already been said we will have to wait until we know all the facts before condemning the person involved.
