Sadly people still do...

and it bugs the hell out of me! lol
the cost of printing out a shedload of scratchcards is more than covered by the cost of phonecalls from gullable people duped into thinking they have won something
If people didn't ring it wouldn't continue would it and sometimes the "con" isn't apparent.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public. Just look at some of the questions on here. I've just answered one from someone asking for ideas on what to do with glitterglue. Jeez!

Is it...
a) The Skkweeufhuijddjjdjfjrexcvcxvvdtrrhtyhjyujtjtj
tyj

b) The Szzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
c) The Sun

Ring this number ...calls are £5 a minute.
Thats why they don't get done - They make it quite clear they are doing you, but still people must ring???
i once rang one of those numbers after winning a prize on a scratchcard ( used work phone though i'm not that stupid) anyway i got a lovely weekend break to prague from it so it's not as much of a con as people think
