Yes, I was right, he played Dr Gordon but it was Judi Bowker who played his daughter, googled Black Beauty to find it, good memory or what?

For questions like this, it is usually useful to go to www.imdb.com and type in the name in the box on the top left.  The name of an actor will give you a list of everything he's been in, and the name of a programme will give a list of the cast.

bernardo is right but sometimes it is more satisfying to actually work through your brain cells and come up with the answer the old fashioned way, though googling is good too.
