shurrruuuppp sqads..lol

she used to be based here, I would have hated her job I tell ya!
Sophie, my son's career advice said he would be a could pilot. He hates flying!! I haven't any faith in careers advisers even nowadays, but when I was young we only got to talk to a normal teacher who was appointed as a careers adviser. No-one came from outside to talk to us. My mother wouldn't let me leave school at 16 so she virtually forced me to do a Business Studies Course. The only thing I will say is that it gave me plenty of opportunities to change jobs, travel about and get another job straight away when I got back. Jobs were easy come by back in the 60s, early 70s. Young people were so lucky then - we had so much freedom.
'good pilot' Well it rhymed!!
One of my mate's sons is a pilot in the RAF.......he nearly got thrown out 'cos when he was on leave he flew a mate's plane under a viaduct........
I wanted to be a vet because I love animals but found I couldn't stand the sight of blood. Ended up as a legal secretary instead.
