A friends husband has not had a cost of living rise for over 10 years the company was taken over two years ago with a promise of a pay rise ' to follow it is a small company 5 ppl total are cost of living rises the norm or can a employer hold them back tks x

well ive never worked for a company that gives "a cost of living" rise.

is it written in the contract that there would be a rise every year?
