plumbing in a dishwasher

How? What plumging thingies do I need to buy?

not a lot really - in fact it's very simple and shouldn't require plumbing to be honest - it's almost identical to fitting a washing machine. (I did it with no instruction or previous experience - i simply fathomed it out)You will need a power source, a water inlet and a water outlet pipe. The best way to do this is to put the dishwasher next to the washing machine - they both take the same type of connector - and "split" the cold water inlet - you buy a small plastic adaptor (from B and Q say - they will know what you're on about if you ask them for one - cost a couple of quid) which splits the cold water inlet into two outputs - one for the washing machine, one for the dishwasher! The output waste pipe - you may be able to jam this in with the washing machine waste pipe into the same outlet, or again fashion some sort of "merger" of the two pipes into one outlet pipe. The main thing to remember is not to seal the pipes as you will create a partial vacuum when you start using the machines and the waste water will feedback into the two machines - the waste pipes have to sit freely in the waste outlet.

oh and then plug it in - simple!
