What kind of plumbing is required to have a dishwasher installed please?

Do special pipes need fitting - I am unsure if I can have a dishwasher - there are pipes at the back of my units but it looks like a radiator used to be there (they look like capped pipes) - I have a washing machine attached to some pipes and I can't see any more. Sorry I know this is such a girly thing to ask - but really haven't a clue! Many thanks!

If your washing machine/water supply situated close to where your planning to have your D/W installed then all you`ll need is a couple of 'Y' connectors (presuming its a hot/cold feed D/W) . These attached onto your mains water supply where your washing machine currently being fed from. Then all you need to sort out is where your waste water outlet from D/W is going to go (either a new outlet to outside or new 'Y' piece adaptor fitted under your sink. Most are always available and any plumbers merchants
