Have you ever forgotten a whole night or part night through drunkiness? Now bobbi this post is not directed at you, you just got me thinking. I have never been in a situation where I've not known what I did or where I was the night before. I dont know how much I'd need to drink for that to happen, and dont undrestand the people that drink that much to get like that and dont know if they had a good night or not. I've forgotten about bits of the night but then get flashbacks then think 'oh my god I said that' If I couldnt remember I'd be so worried as to what I may have done.

Only once, 4get. Many, many moons ago.

Not too proud to say I'd had 14 bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale and couldn't remember anything after 10:30 p.m. (That was the last time I looked at my watch. My Brother, his friend and me were playing Darts) How much I had to drink after that I have no recollection. DO remember throwing up in my bedroom doorway and woke up with an ankle the size of a beach ball after an excursion off a curb edge.

I don't touch alcohol now.
Lottie! from your last post....
"I have been drunk for many years now 4get".

That explains a lot....I can't stop laughing!

gran I cant fall asleep in a vehicle at best of time, definitely not when drunk. Now judge are you not proud because you dont remember anything or not proud because you onlt managed 14 bottles lol. When I went lastnight there were 5 lads playing centurion. a shot of lager every minute for 100 minutes. Every one of them was sick. What a waste.

Robinia I never even noticed lol
I think she's staggered off to bed 4get....I'll remind her of that tomorrow, if she's in any fit state to talk to :o)
Question Author
she'll be fine, you dont get hungover if you carry on drinking :-)
Sober now and feeling fine, nice to see dear old Vibra threw his hat in the ring, yea, I posted cr@p last night and who hasn't?
perhaps you should all tell me what and when to post in future?

btw, Bill hasn't bled to death, I was exaggerating that too....
and I went into the lounge and did a crossword afterwards....didn't stagger once either...lol
I was going to put this up as a seperate thread...but bloody hell, it would have been seen as attention seeking by Vibra, thats his new cliche for me...rotfl!
I don't fit his criteria I suppose!
so I make not one apology for last night at all and remember folks, if I get on your nerves as much as you intimate I do...don't take part in a thread I post...simple , innit?
I don't tend to get drunk as I like to be in control. I may get tipsy but I always know where I am who I am with and I am never ill from it!

I have better things to be doing than acting like an idiot - which I am sure I would be if I were wasted. We are having a few cocktails for my birthday but I won't be getting smashed. =)
Oh dear!!! :o(
That 'Oh Dear' was with reference to Robinia's posting!!

apparently i have done things ive forgotten about, but i still think its my friends winding me up (i mean, there is no way at the age of 16 i wouldve pulled moonies around a culdesac)

i very very rarely get drunk now, i dont like the feeling, cant even handle gas and air lol

I have to say, with shame, I do have 'lapses of memory' from heavy nights before. And the full memory of events rarely comes back to me - people jog my memory that's all. I never lose whole nights, but certainly latter parts of it if I've had a lot to drink - and my alcohol intake threshold is far too high - I wish I could stop when I'm becoming aware that I really have had enough :-(

Tthat's bad, isn't it?
Question Author
yes vibes and have no idea why she carried it over to a new day, i was bored of it lastnight. Greedy cocktail party sounds like fun and red cant imagine you pulling moonies now
i cant imagine me doing it then.

all i recall of that night was a lot of alcohol, we filled a washing up bowl with every bottle from friend's parents' drinking cabinet and the fact that halfway through drinking it we realised we hadnt drunk any milk to line our stomachs so poured that in too.
at the end of night 3 girls were sat with deckchairs on their heads, i recall that too lol
I look back on how wild I was in my youth and often wonder how I survived. Good to have the memories though - they were great times.
