we were meant to go shopping today but never got round to it so i have an opportunity to cook for myself.

we have; a little bit of chicken to fight over, rice, potato, carrot, spring onion, cheese, tomato, pickled onions, tinned sweetcorn, bacon, 1 egg, beetroot, load of random seasonings. maybe not using a bit of everything but they're the possible ingredients. i want something easy to cook and healthy.

ps, i probably wont get engg and chicken so recipes that only have one in, that can be done before 6pm.

all perfect for the nasi goreng....boil & dry off rice - its longest to prapare. Meantime scissor snip other ingredients to half inch size. Veg oil in wok/fry pan, fry garlic & onions, vegs & rice. add soya sauce & chilli sauce or tobasco....now fry egg & break up by stirring. Serve with egg sprinkled on top as garnish.
Well, you could make a kind of "Ensaladilla Rusa" (Russian salad) by mixing shredded, cooked chicken, mashed, hardboiled egg, finely cubed cooked carrot, beetroot, sweetcorn, bacon and mayonnaise. Served with a baked potato. This is a popular tapas in Spain.
