Have you ever woken up in the morning with a medium sized one on your face? Believe me, you will never get out of bed faster than that, and then you start thinking of all the orificies that it might have been in...
*splat*
Dead. Just like that. No compunction or guilt. Hate the things & they scare me.
Isnt there some statisitc that says you will eat 'n' number of spiders in your sleep during your life? I think its about 6. I hope they're all small ones and have had good wash and scrub up first!
Ooh baldwag, i really wish you hadn't have put that.
I shall henceforth sleep with duct tape over my mouth....
sorry - misspelt your name :-(
I don't like them either, but I could kill one.
I used to be terrified of them, but living in an old cottage which is home to dozens of them I have learned to live with them and respect them. I still can't touch them unless they are very small. I also made a decision that my son would not grow up terrified of spiders like I did, so I never let him see my original fear and I gradually began to get used to them.

However, like you, I would, never ever kill one intentionally. They do me no harm and they have a place in the world and hopefully keep the flies down.
my dog chases spiders and splats them with his feet.......he then sits proudly waiting for a pat on the head as if he's been really brave......
Did you mean 'couldn't' Marval?
My cat kills them Craft, I often find a heap of spiders legs. Not much I can do about that!
Is ok Salla I am Bald and a bit of a wag.

I've just eaten shredded wheat and the bits left over in the bowl look like spiders legs. Yuk!

The myth that you eat 6 spiders in your lifetime is, a myth. The only way this could happen is if one accidently fell from the ceiling directly down your open mouth. Spiders won't go near carbon dioxide, they dislike it as much as we do - so the mouth and nose are a no no.
