irony in this scenario?
During this period of awful weather , when roads are frozen, food supplies are limited, bins remain unemptied for over 2 weeks, post undelivered for 4 days now, pipes frozen, gas supplies under threat and 4x4 is the new buzz word , our local paper boy on a mountain bike has delivered every day pretty well on time. I think he is a credit to us and an amazing example of tenacity.Very well done that lad!!!!

I do 2 paper rounds every morning 7 days a week (honest!)
We haven't had much snow but it's been very cold and very icey,fell off my bike loads of times lol!.
All the locals schools have been shut all week though.
It's been tough but perhaps some people could do with making a bit more effort and stop moaning!

Morning all. Our bins have remained unemptied and we have had no post since Wednesday but the milkman has managed to get up the road bless him. We don't ever get paper deliveries here but I have seen people in other places delivering so it can be done. (Good on ya WBA!)

Ummmm ... we have had more snow, and the beach is all white.

I went for a run last week when we had the really deep dump, and it was lovely ... all crunchy, and the air smelt wonderful.

I bet it did JJ....I'm a bit of a woss (sp) and am close to tears by the time I've reached the corner shop.....
