Radio interference

I am running internet radio from my Hi Fi using a Squeezebox which is picking up its signal via our wireless network.

All of a sudden over the last couple of days, the signal is being overtaken by a huge crackle and hiss causing it to rebuffer and lose the radio signal.

I am struggling to work out if this is something in the house, on the phone line, or due to somebody using something outside which is interfering with the signal. Any ideas as to what I can do to identiify the source?

Great devices squeezeboxes :)

Anyhow, can you connect the box using a Ethernet cable instead of wireless to eliminate a problem with your wireless signal?
